The UK Border Agency has explained how you can extend your stay in the UK as an overseas qualified nurse or midwife to undertake a supervised practice placement or midwifery adaptation programme.
The arrangements for overseas qualified nurses and midwives ended on 27 November 2008 - you can no longer apply to come to the UK or to switch into this category. If you have a job offer from a UK employer, you may be able to apply for permission to work here as a sponsored skilled worker.

Over the weekend of the 5th & 6th September Burnham Junior Football Club successfully hosted it's 16th Annual PreSeason Football Tournament. 90 teams from 30 different clubs across the region took part in the tournament covering all age groups from under 7 through to under 15. Nearly 4000 players and spectators attended the tournament and enjoyed perfect weather conditions and some great football. read more >
